Groups and celebrations
Marés has space for groups: a large dining room with big windows, a private room for events and the inner courtyard, with trees and lights after dark. For ten or more there are three celebration menus with nibbles, a choice of main and dessert, with wine, cava, bread and coffee included. If you'd rather stand, for fifteen or more there are three one-hour drinks receptions. Tell us the date and how many of you there are, and we'll tell you which format works best.

Rice dishes
The Paella de Mariscos is the house paella: it arrives at the table with mussels, clams, langoustine and lemon. The menu also has the Paella Mar y Montaña, a seasonal vegetable paella, the Arroz negro con Mariscos (black rice with seafood) and the Fideuá de Mariscos, made with short noodles instead of rice. To start, if there are a few of you, Patatas Marés, the Croquetas de Ibérico y Cocido or the Pulpo a la Gallega are good for sharing. Rice dishes are served at both lunch and dinner.

Marés opens every morning for breakfast. There's toast, croissants, doughnuts, scrambled eggs with bacon, fruit, coffee and orange juice, and when the weather's good you can have breakfast in the inner courtyard, among the trees and white gravel. That courtyard is also the terrace for lunch and dinner: if you'd like a table outside, ask for one when you book. If you're not sure how breakfast works, give us a call and we'll explain.

Yes. Marés is inside the Hotel Zenit Borrell, but it's open to everyone. Book a table online or give us a call; you don't need to be a hotel guest.
Yes, on weekdays at lunchtime. You can have the full menu or a half menu; it comes with bread, water, a glass of wine or a small beer, and dessert or coffee. Some dishes carry a supplement.
It depends on availability on the day. Tell us when you book that you'd prefer the terrace and we'll confirm whether there's space; if there isn't, we'll give you a table in the dining room.
Yes. For ten or more there are three celebration menus with drinks included, and for fifteen or more, three standing drinks receptions. We have a private room for events; call the events number with the date and the number of guests.
We're at Carrer del Comte Borrell, 208, on the corner of Mallorca, inside the Hotel Zenit Borrell. The metro stop to use is Hospital Clínic, on line L5. When you arrive, ask for Marés.
