Where to Eat in Eixample: Set Lunch and Full Menu
Marés serves a set lunch menu from Monday to Friday at Comte Borrell, 208, on the corner of Mallorca. Bread, a drink and dessert or coffee are included, and if you'd rather choose dish by dish, the full menu is available too. You don't need to be staying at the hotel to eat here.
How it works

You choose a starter, a main and dessert or coffee, and bread, water and a glass of wine or a small beer are included. If you're less hungry or short on time, ask for the half menu. The dishes change regularly and there are always several starters and mains to choose from; this week's are on the menu page, so you can decide before you leave the office.

Before you come for lunch
Lunch in the courtyard
Marés has a terrace in an inner courtyard with trees and gravel. If you'd like to eat outside, ask when you book and we'll tell you if there's space.
Menu in several languages
If you're coming with clients or colleagues from abroad, the menu is translated into several languages so everyone can order for themselves.
Eating with children
There's a children's menu with a beef burger or a chicken escalope, so little ones don't have to order from the adult set menu.
Company lunches
For a team lunch of ten or more, there are three fixed menus with drinks, bread and coffee, plus a private room. Call our events team to arrange the date.
Questions about the set lunch
Yes. At lunchtime you can have the set menu or order from the full menu: salads, rice dishes and fideuá, meat, the fish of the day and the pasta of the day.
Yes, some carry a supplement. Ask us when you order and we'll tell you which ones that day, so you know what you're paying.
We recommend booking, especially if you're coming with work colleagues or want a table on the terrace. You can book online or by phone.
No. We open at lunchtime from Monday to Friday, when the set menu is on. On Saturdays and Sundays we serve breakfast in the morning and dinner from the menu in the evening.
